About Me

Hello, my name is Jo Rose.

I am an Accredited Play and Creative Arts Therapist working with children aged 4 to 16 in East Kent. I am passionate about enabling children and young people to creatively find ways to express their feelings and work through what is troubling them.

I strongly believe that all children and young people must be given the opportunity to feel safe and empowered to reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives.

I have a special interest in autism, which stems from my daughter’s diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome at the age of 5 years old. I have gained extensive experience working with children with autism educationally and therapeutically in primary and secondary schools.
